Deaths
REEVES, Paul Andrew, of Sparkford, Somerset. Tower Captain of Queen Camel, Somerset for over 50 years, having taken over from his father. Passed away 7th July aged 79. PAUL, Geoffrey of Kingston upon Thames, formerly of Lincoln, Derby and Skipton, died on 6th July after a long illness. Funeral at Randalls Crematorium, Randalls Road, Leatherhead, KT22 0AG at 10.15am on Thursday 30th July. Please let kateflavell1@gmail.com know if you are intending to come to assist with catering.
[3105]DOWNHAM, Michael died on the 25th June 2026 at the age of 104 years. Formerly a ringer at St Botolph’s, Barton Seagrave and St Edmund, Warkton and a longstanding member of the Peterborough Diocesan Guild. Called home to rest at last.

RICHARDS Charles T, formerly of Isleworth and retiring to Christchurch, died peacefully on Friday, 26th June aged 96.

BENATAR, Niels, an American hand-surgeon living in Germany and a frequent visitor (especially to Tysoe, Tredington and Tulloch) for bellringing, sadly died on 23rd June. His funeral was on 6th July in Germany. Niels was a regular contributor of articles and watercolours to The Ringing World. He will be missed.
